Janani trust was established in July 2023 through the Charitable & Educational Trust Act by Smt. Uamadevi N, currently the founder President of the trust, who has been tirelessly working in this area for the past 7 years. Since its inception, the trust is primarily focussing on the underprivileged sections of the society, specially Women and Children.
For the thousands of stifled women in low-income communities across the country, Janani trust is the key to unlocking their power! Janani trust touches their lives, by transforming the many groups that work with grassroots women – helping create powerful, enterprising women that produce and sell hand-made products. Together, they provide livelihood opportunities to these low-income women – empowering them to become role models and changemakers in their families and communities.
